This camera is Polaroid in name only. It was made in China by Concord Camera, a Hong-Kong company, for which Polaroid has licensed its name on certain products.
This camera is the perfect illustration of the errors of a manufacturer of cameras faced with the breakthrough of digital technology.
Note that its lens is a real wide-angle, a 9.5/28 mm.
The flash is not automatic. It has the red-eye reduction function.
